The Appletree, Marton.
With an ever increasing interest and passion for wine our list is forever developing. We use mainly one supplier for our wines; Tate-Smiths in Malton, a small family owned firm.
We receive a huge amount of support from them and through them have built relationships with a lot of the principle names on our list; Brown Brothers of Australia, Louis Roederer & Moet Hennessy to name a few.
Our wine list is personal to us, we choose wines that match TJ's food well, wines that we find interesting & a little bit different and wines that make us sit up and go WOW. We currently list 7 reds, 7 whites, 3 roses and 2 champagnes by the glass but Melanie is always happy to open any bottle on the list if someone wants just a glass, particularly if it's a favourite as she gets to finish it later!
